Head Tour Tennis Balls - 1 Dozen

Not my favourite tennis ball (that would be the Dunlop), & they're like bullets when the can is first opened, but they do feel better after using them for a while. They seem to be very popular as match balls for tennis club teams, so if you play for a club team then it's a good idea to get used to them, which is why I bought these.

Tested them on clay courts this weekend. They kept their bounce well for 2 hours of hitting and brought up very little fuzz.

Supposed to be a lively ball according to Head. I mostly use it on slower hard courts and this is a perfect ball for a slow surface.

We find these balls more durable than most others. Normally good for 6 sets of doubles on an outdoor hard court.

These balls are great. We use them at our club for social play. They are really easy to see when it gets dark. But also, the pressure seems to stay quite stable for a few weeks.

Over the years, I have played with several makes of tennis balls during the winter. I recently played a match, outside on wet courts, using the Head Tour ball and was really impressed. It picked up hardly any water and the bounce stayed true for the duration of the match. For this reason, I have bought some Head Tour balls myself and can highly recommend in this very wet British winter.

These are great tennis balls. Formerly Head ATP the only change is the Tour name. Sweatband did a great price. As always delivery was very swift and the whole process very good. Thank you Sweatband.

Good product at a good price

I have used the Head ATP tennis ball for a long time and was a little disconcerted when I was no longer able to purchase it, but this ball, the Head Tour, seems to be exactly the same ball under a different name. I feel it could be made more resilient to hard surfaces (especially the tarmac that many British courts are made of, hence the 4 stars), as Head’s Championship ball is much more hard wearing, but overall, the feel and bounce of the Tour ball makes it a great buy. At around £1 per ball when bought by the gross, and with around 6 hours of play before the logo has worn away, it compares very favourably with the opposition.

Having trialled a number of brands, our social tennis group found these to last longer than any others.
